The Morepork or Ruru (in Maori) is New Zealand's only surviving native Owl.

The distinctive call of this little brown speckled owl can be commonly heard at dusk and throughout the night in certain areas. It's haunting call "more-pork" is reflective of it's name.

This pendant features the 'Morepork' or 'Ruru' hand carved and crafted in Sterling Silver with a beautiful piece of New Zealand Greenstone (from Goldsborough) as a small pendant drop.

This pendant is available suspended on either a Sterling Silver chain, or on an adjustable woven Black Wax Thread.
