This beautifully crafted Bat Brooch is meticulously carved by hand from the Black-lip Mother of Pearl shell. Slightly curved depending on the form of the particular shell chosen, this brooch takes on an iridescent glow revealing subtle pinks, greens and blues within the deep peacock black of the beautiful Black-lip Mother of pearl shell.

This brooch is delicately backed with sterling silver and perfect for any bat lover.

Please be aware that the Mother of Pearl shell is an organic material therefore the colours cannot be regulated. Each Bat Brooch made from the black-lip Mother of Pearl shell will feature unique colours of it's own varying from the example pictured above.
The colour in each individual brooch ranges from the deep colours of the black-lip through to pearly white making each one unique.
