Di Tocker

Di Tocker is a Sculptural Glass Artist focused on the method of lost wax casting, working from her studio in Cambridge, New Zealand. A Bachelor of Fine Arts (major glass) program at RMIT, Melbourne 1999-2002 introduced Di to many forms of glassmaking, but it was casting that grabbed her attention. Di has spent the past 16 years honing this craft; forming wax, creating kiln moulds and hand polishing cast crystal.

Geometric forms and sweeping curves are place holders for small figures creating narratives of connection, spatial awareness, curiosity, and relationships. Her works are recognisable by definitive placement of blended colours, and her chosen glass – Blackwood Lead Crystal. Di Tocker’s glass artworks are professionally packaged, each piece signed and coded for value and reference.

Di has glass artworks in private collections in NZ, Australia, United States and United Kingdom.
