An ancient symbol in many cultures the bat can symbolize good luck, longevity and happiness.
Bats Over a Pearl Moon - Brooch features three bats flying through the night sky depicted in mid flight as they cross in front of a pearly white full moon.
Meticulously hand carved and crafted in Sterling Silver, the bats are embedded into a pearl moon carved from Mother of Pearl shell. The shell then has a frame and backing of Sterling Silver so there is a certain weight to this brooch.
Please note: Because of the construction and therefore weight of this piece, this brooch has been designed to wear on sturdy fabric such as a winter jacket and is not as well suited to be worn on fine, free flowing fabrics.
