My primary inspiration for the sea creatures has been the stories and the legends of encounters at sea of great monsters and of the awe they inspired in ancient mariners. Myths and tales such as the Kraken and Moby Dick. In reality, the ocean creatures are every bit as fascinating as the myths themselves and my work attempts to reflect the power and majesty of these ocean inhabitants.
